H!t the Spot! - A Google Meet Hobby Hangout -

Welcome to the landing page for H!t the Spot!

This is our stream information page, where we allow you to get involved on a live platform —a hobby hangout for like-minded individuals. Share your screen, and show us what you're working on while introducing yourself to other hobbies in which you might like to get involved. A place to show off your works in progress or your finished builds and even ask questions of your peers as to what they are up to and how you could also get involved in something that grabs your attention.

Would you like to experience and enjoy a world of creation by gathering those around you that wish to grow and succeed at their hobby? From miniature painting to model building, scenery creation to kit bashing, whatever your hobby, you can get involved with us.

Here on this page, you'll find everything you need to join the next live meet. Below are some minimum requirements, tips, and how-to's to get the most out of each session.

But we also realise that the live meet setting might not be your thing. And that's cool. Perhaps you'd like to tune in and watch while chilling in your own space, doing what you enjoy most. You, too, can spectate via any of the social media platforms that we are broadcasting live to, such as YouTube, Twitch, or Facebook, to name a few. While you're watching, feel free to reach out to us with some questions or even some recommendations via the chat screen. It's straightforward to get involved at this level if that suits you best. You can find those sites here:

Twitch: https://www.twitch.tv/hitthespotb2b NOT ACTIVE YET

So without further adieu, we can get onto the nitty-gritty of what it takes to participate. It's nothing mind-boggling or technically challenging. Odds are you've already used a similar system during the Covid years for conference meetings and can jump straight in. But for anyone wanting to join the live feed, please go over the following so that you and your hobby associates will get the best out of the platform. So let's go H!t the Spot and scratch that itch.

Stream sessions:

  • Every Sunday from 1 pm - 3 pm ACDT (Australian Central Daylight Time)
  • One Sunday a month from 10 am - 4 pm ACDT. Replacing the session mentioned above.

We use Google Meet to host the session. No, you do not need a Google account to join. You will just be asked on the pre-meet screen what name you would like to go by. The following stream session details and the link is:
