Adding Your Tray to Cart
Your custom tray may take a few seconds to process after you select Add to Cart. Wait for the cart drawer to open and confirm the tray has been added before changing the options and/or creating another tray.
Before Ordering:
- Measure your miniature bases before ordering and enter their actual dimensions in millimetres. Allow a little additional clearance if required.
- Check that the live preview shows the intended formation, base size, construction and included components before adding the tray to your cart.
- Some options may become unavailable as you make selections. This prevents incompatible tray combinations.
Choosing a Tray Style
Standard trays arrange models in traditional ranks. Choose 3 Sided for an open rear or 4 Sided for a complete lip around the formation.
Lance trays build outward from a single model at the front into progressively wider rear ranks. Choose 3 Sided for an open rear or 4 Sided for a fully enclosed formation.
Adaptor trays allow models on smaller bases to occupy a larger standard footprint. The only supported footprint sizes are 25 × 25mm, 30 × 30mm, 30 × 60mm and 50 × 50mm. So be sure to enter these dimensions (not what your bases are currently on). The live preview will display and confirm the corresponding model base size.
Conversion trays arrange models on round, oval or pill-shaped bases into a compact rank-and-file formation.
Skirmish, Round trays use an organic formation with varied spacing between models.
Skirmish, Square trays use an evenly spaced formation with either a ½-inch or 1-inch gap between positions.
Materials and Assembly
Movement trays are available in MDF or clear acrylic, with several combinations of base and upper-layer thicknesses. The live construction profile shows the selected layers and their arrangement.
Movement trays require assembly. Lip pieces and upper plates are supplied with pressure-sensitive adhesive already applied where applicable, ready to be peeled, positioned and pressed into place.
Miniature bases are not included unless selected under Bases Required. Supplied bases will match the material and thickness of the tray’s upper layer.
Magnetising Options
None adds no magnetising material to the tray.
Magflex Sheet & Magnets adds a 0.6mm flexible steel sheet and includes the required number of rare-earth magnets for the selected formation and base size. The magnets are intended to be attached to the underside of your miniature bases.
Magnetic Sheet adds a 0.9mm flexible magnetic sheet. Choose this for models using metal bases, steel or iron washers, or compatible Magflex base bottoms.
All trays, except Standard 3 and 4 Sided, have the selected sheet supplied fitted to the tray. The live preview will confirm the magnetising layer and the number of magnets included.
