Design Your Own Custom Gaming Tokens

Create a set of custom gaming tokens with your own combination of backgrounds, icons, colours and text. Each set contains five individually designed tokens, produced as full-colour prints mounted to clear acrylic. Use them for objectives, status effects, wounds, resources, spells, abilities, command markers or anything else you want clearly represented on the tabletop.

For the best Token Maker experience, use a PC or tablet. The larger screen gives you full access to the designer and the precise control needed to position, size and fine-tune your token design.

Choose Your Token Size and Sides

Available in 15mm, 20mm or 25mm Round. Choose Single Sided for your custom design on the front with a clean white reverse, or Double Sided to add designs to both faces. Double-sided sets can use the same design on both sides, or different designs on each.

Five Designs in Every Set

The set contains 5 physical tokens — one of each design you create. Copy your favourite design from one token to the next, or make all 5 completely unique. You can then order additional copies of the complete five-token set:

• 1 set — 5 tokens
• 2 sets — 10 tokens
• 4 sets — 20 tokens
• 6 sets — 30 tokens
• 10 sets — 50 tokens

Build Them in the Designer

Create each of your five tokens using the designer below. Choose a background, select and/or recolour icons, add text and adjust the placement, size and rotation of your design elements. All five token designs remain part of the same set, and you can move between them while you work.

Check Your Design Before Ordering

The live preview shows how your finished design will be positioned on each token. Artwork or text placed very close to the edge may be trimmed during production, so check each token carefully before giving Final Design Approval. Once approved, your complete set can be added to the cart at the price shown for your selected size, sidedness and quantity.

A Finished Physical Product

Token Maker is for ordering finished physical gaming tokens — it is not a digital download, template or print-at-home product. I produce your selected designs as full-colour prints mounted between 2 layers of 1.5mm clear acrylic and supply them ready for tabletop use. Colours displayed on your monitor may vary slightly from the finished printed product.

Some tips to keep in mind when using the designer:

• Only the layer you’re currently editing can be moved or adjusted. The other layers are effectively locked in place, so once you’re happy with something, you won’t accidentally drag it around while working on another part of the design.
• Use Copy Token when several tokens need a similar starting point. It’s much quicker to duplicate an existing design and change the parts you want than to rebuild them from scratch.
• You can make a token without an icon. “No Icon” is a deliberate option, so a token can use just a background and/or text.
• Two text layers are independent. That means you can use different wording, colours, positions and treatments on the same token rather than trying to fit everything into one text element.
• Single-sided tokens come with a clean white rear side. You don’t need to design anything extra for the back.
• With double-sided tokens, you don’t have to rebuild the reverse if you want it to match the front. You can use the same design on both sides, or choose a different rear design when you actually want one.
• Shift clicking. Hold Shift before clicking and dragging to move icons or text on either the horizontal or vertical plane. Helps keep things centred from their original position.
• The visual edge warning doesn’t necessarily mean your design is wrong. If you deliberately want icons or text to run close to or beyond the cut edge, you can acknowledge that choice and continue. It’s there to stop accidental clipping, not prevent intentional full-bleed-style designs.
• Clear Token is useful when experimenting. If one design has wandered too far from where you wanted it, clearing that token is often faster than undoing every individual choice.

Before You Can Add Your Tokens to the Cart

If Add Tokens to Cart isn’t available, quickly check the following:

• All five tokens have a background selected, and you've chosen an icon or the “No Icon” option. Text is optional.
• If you're using different designs on the rear, make sure all five rear designs are complete too.
• Any “Close to edge” warnings have been fixed or deliberately accepted using “Allow edge overhang”.
• Final Design Approval has been ticked. If you make any other design change afterwards, you’ll need to approve the finished designs again.
