Unit of Measure. Choose either millimetres or inches. Millimetres use whole numbers only. Inches can use decimals — for example, enter 1.5 for one and a half inches.

How it works:
- Discuss your needs: Contact me with what you need and I’ll confirm whether it can be made.
- Check the price: Where possible, use the closest standard Shape Maker options to see the approximate per-piece price. I can quote more complicated jobs by email.
- Add your instructions: Enter the agreed details in the Custom Requirements box, or simply write “see discussion”. These details stay with that item through your cart and checkout.
- Standard orders: If you’re ordering directly from the normal Shape Maker options, leave the Custom Requirements box blank.
Custom cutting fee: Custom work has a setup fee to cover design and laser setup. When you use the Custom Requirements box, this fee is automatically spread across the quantity ordered and included in the per-piece price shown.
Come back for more: I keep your custom cutting files on hand for future orders, so you won’t need to pay the setup fee again for the same cut.
Hexagon & Octagon sizing: The measurement is taken between two parallel sides.
Tear Drop sizing: Width is measured at the widest point, while Height/Length is the full distance from tip to tail. Choose Rounded or Square Corners depending on the tail style you need. Most gaming templates use the 10mm Rounded option.
MDF is dense, flat and stable, with no grain or voids. It cuts to crisp edges, drills easily for model pinning, and bonds well with PVA wood glue.
Acrylic is lightweight, durable and available in a range of colours and tints. It cuts cleanly and can be drilled and polished. All acrylic is supplied with protective film on both sides to prevent scratches during transport; peel this away before use.
