Unleashing my creativity with 'The Rack V2.0'

Getting my thoughts out here may help with moving forward in all areas of Back 2 Base-ix. So let me give this a try...

Hobby workspace organisation has always been a passion of mine. Over the years, manufacturing had pulled me away from the design process to keep things rolling and the business functioning. However, life has gotten me to a point where I can design again, filling the voids within the range that I knew existed.

But not only that, I've also explored other 'themed' and 'premium' ideas to enhance the workspace's aesthetics further. This has come from spending a lot of time bridging the gap between printed media and laser cutting within my own realm. So I'm looking forward to the weeks and months ahead, and to what I can do with the ideas, materials, and tools I have on hand.

To that end, I'm proud to announce that 'The Rack V2.0' has finally seen the light of day. While still by no means complete (I don't think I will ever be 'finished'), I just needed to start from somewhere, so here it is with its humble beginnings:

In case you were wondering, here are some things to come for the immediate term (end of Nov 2025):

- More photos of paint racks showing paint hole layout.
- A couple more racks from v1.0 to be brought across to v2.0.
- More new additions to the current Standard range.
- Getting the Acrylic version of the Standard range live.
- Being able to show customers colour variations, live on the site.
- Showing more example layouts.

For the short term (pushing to have done by the start of 2026) :

- Designing the initial 'Themed' and 'Premium' range of racks, in both layered material addons and full colour print. More on this later as I will show you what I'm up to as the steps lay out in front of me.
