Dragon Skin® Series silicone rubbers are high performance platinum cure silicone rubbers, ideal for medical prosthetics, skin effects and movie special effects including anamatronics where repetitive motion is required. Dragon Skin® is also perfect for strong, durable, tear resistant molds that produce excellent detail with negligible shrinkage. We love the Dragon Skin® because when cured it is very strong and very “stretchy”. It will stretch many times its original size without tearing and will rebound to its original form without distortion.

Dragon Skin® 10 NV
Dragon Skin® 10 NV is a low viscosity, high performance platinum cure silicone rubber that is easy to use and versatile. Mix ratio is 1A:1B by weight or volume, pot life is 15 minutes and cure time is 75 minutes at room temperature. Rubber cures with negligible shrinkage to a Shore 10A. Vacuum degassing is not necessary Color is water white translucent.
Features
- Dragon Skin® 10 NV is suitable for making molds of any configuration for casting plasters, wax, low-melt temperature metal alloys, resins and other platinum silicones (release agent required).
- Dragon Skin® 10 NV is compatible with other Dragon Skin® rubbers and is also suitable for special effects applications. Color can be added with Silc Pig® or Ignite® color pigments. This rubber can be thickened with Thi-Vex® thickening agent or softened with SLACKER® additive.
Dragon Skin® FX-Pro is a soft, stable, high performance platinum silicone rubber specifically designed for creating silicone makeup appliances and skin effects. Dragon Skin® FX-Pro is compatible with Skin-Tite® silicone adhesive as well as medical grade pressure sensitive adhesives for adhering silicone appliances temporarily to the skin. Soft and stretchy FX-Pro has a Shore hardness of 2A. FX-Pro can be combined with SLACKER® deadening agent to create a very soft silicone gel for filling encapsulated silicone pieces. An infinite number of color effects can be achieved by adding Silc-Pig® silicone pigments. Cured rubber can also be painted with the Psycho Paint® system.
